Bios

Mimosa Pale (1980). Sculptor, performance artist, hat maker. Lives and works in Berlin (D) and Pori (Fin). She studied art in Birmingham, Helsinki and Paris. Her artwork is a synthesis of sculpture and performance art. In her often interactive work humour, lust and celebration lead to carnivalesque staging. She likes to switch contexts being it museum, theatre, street or church. She acts in cabaret shows with her singing saw, creates haute-couture for everybody and makes fashion-shows in her Berlin flat. Mimosa Pale has visited various international performance art festivals and has recently opened a hat shop HIMO in Berlin Neukölln. In SpukKommune hat workshop she will be working with her college hat maker Elina Lajunen, also finnish artist, who is temporarily visiting Berlin.

Margo Fatal is a post-soviet who traveled around a lot. Her main interest is in the conceptual directing of contemporary music concerts. Along the way she performed many solo concerts in a variety of bars in Berlin. Margo Fatal is a self-trained director and actor. At the moment she is studying Visual Media Anthropology with the help of a scholarship of the DAAD. This opened for her new perspectives concerning the human-being, the stage, and authenticity.
