Cine Zoo and Modern Arsch Museum
Friday 2 of November 2011 at 21:00 in basement of Rauchhaus
SpukKlang Program
Die SpukKommune is proud to present Cine Zoo and Modern Arsch Museum, a delicious musical aperitif to prepare the 40 Hausgeburtstag Rauchhaus of next week. Come and quench your ears!!!
CINE ZOO. Zoo Interior (Universe And Beyond) and Zoo Exterior(Microorganisms)
Once upon a space, deep in vacuum times of outer sound universe, fragments of infinite memories were gathering, compressing, reaching a boiling point, creating a Big Sound Quake. It exploded and diffused memories in nano dissipated fragments, displacing them through space-time continuum. Cinezoo is on quest to find valuable fragments that will help them to rediscover lost scattered stories hidden within memories.
Cinezoo are dynamic duo, group consisting of video/sound artist/performer Joao Bento and sound designer/composer/sound director Vladimir Rakic. Aside from colaborating in differrent artistic disciplines (theater, film, game, installations), Cinezoo is pure musical project, investigating borders of sound storytelling.
Visual Music? Non – Music? Cinema for Blind? All that together and more? Or none at all?

Ma sehen tomorrow, aber in this moment Modern Arsch Museum are: Angela Cory (Saxophon, Voice, Action), Eduard Mont de Palol (Guitarre, Action), Jose Manuel García (Percussion, Action) and Nilo Gallego (Percussion, Action).
Nilo Gallego
Nilo Gallego has performed in all kinds of spaces, such as "Pigmeus do Mondego" (sound action at the Mondego river), "Amanecer desde Montolivet" and "Fuera de la fábrica Beta" (site-especific), "Felipe vuelve a casa con las ovejas sonando" (sheep concert with shepherd Felipe Quintana), "Canción de éxito mundial" (participatory sound action), "Te invito a un chino" (experimental performance with kanito and Oscar de Paz), "Concierto de megáfonos y sirenas" and "Concierto aspirador" (with Pablo Rega), "Homenaje Cage" (with Markus Breuss), etc. Group projects include "Yavestruz comoandamios parecementerio" (experimental music and action in public spaces), and "Taller espontáneo de pequeñas nadas" (street actions), the collective "Fora do tempo" (field actions) and musical performance groups "Ciegas con Pistola", "Siempre por Detroit" and "Blinden mit Pistolen". He teaches sound workshops for children and adults.
José Manuel García
José García was born in Malaga (1978) and today he lives in Berlin. His music, his sound, is based, although not only, in the plastic manipulation of the sonorous information that surrounds me. Million Bass lines, fragments of piano and of any instrument improvisations, accumulations of voices, subjects of the popular classic repertoire, of the historicist academy, ambient sounds and experimental sounds, everything can be deconstructed in samplers, units of loop, to compose a new mass, latent in the present. García musical language does not own the abstraction of the forms of a score, lives in the concrete of the recorded sound, in the basic electronics and in the digital edition by tracks. In a concert, the fragmentation rearticulates in accumulations, repetitions and silences, in a session of sonorous syncretism.

Rinus van Alebeek vs Tzii. Tapes Manipulation.
Anton Mobin vs d’incise. Frei Improvisation.
Kro de la Bestiole. Bugged TV performance.
Th-Th. Nerdy noises.
Rinus van Alebeek
Self-described dutch pop musician Rinus van Alebeek, manipulator of tapes, realities and audio-novelist, visited Porto for a conference at the Fine Arts University and a concert in Casa Viva. The conference, held in an auditorium with all the lights turned off, was a masterly display of how to lead young artists down the road of absurdity, perversity and mental health. Later on, the concert mixed numerous tapes through Rinus’s custom-made “acoustic laptop” system, creating instant mental landscapes, soundtracks and book pages of the soul. Among the audience stood out a supposed shaman en route to Jerusalem, who confessed to Rinus the concert had been “healing”. If you ever wonder how to measure success, healing a shaman is definitely making it, big time.
Tzii
Musician, Videomaker and Dj, Tzii began to play in public in 1994 and create in 2001 the d.i.y label Night on Earth, producing L.P. and CD-R. Member of the collectives V-Atak and Radon, he’s playing with categorizations and travel between different universes searching a precise form of energy more than a music category. Feeding himself of popular cultures, mainly from Europe and Africa, Tzii explores the sound matter in any forms, playfully or in a more introspective way. He’s close to the old school industrial music. Everything has already been done so everything is possible... let’s abolish the styles border…
Anton Mobin
Objects manipulator & concrete music composer, works for radio, experienced improvisor and addict of fields recording. In the continuity of the Pierre Shaeffer’s concepts, Anton is always in search for new articulations between objects, manipulations, and interaction with his own body. A crack, a fold, a brightness, a jolt in the plan of the sound, a convexity of surface...
d'incise
d'incise is member of the Audioactivity, music & visual collective founded in 2000 in Geneva. In 2002 he starded to produce different kinds of electronic music, from dub to electronica, dangerously sliding to the more experimental ways of electroacoustic. After 2004, he started to release his music on various netlabels as Zymogen or Test Tube. Beside he pratice free improvisation, using laptop, live treatments and various objects & contact mics, Diatribes (open formation with drummer Cyril Bondi) and Karst (quartet with Bondi, Luc Muller and Abstral Compost) are his two main improvised projects. These regular and others occasionnal projets had inclued musicians as barry guy, keith row, jason kahn, tomas korber, christian weber, jacques demierre, norbert moslang, ernesto rodrigues, johann bourquenez, le car de thon, hannah marshall, rafal mazur, keir neuringher, HKM+, Fred gloria et les autres, abdul moimême, hernani faustino, joao pedro viegas, christian graf, nicolas sordet, johanne bourquenez, tzii, dragos tara, benoit moreau, jonas kocher, laurent brutin, pieros SK, delpine horst.
Kro de la Bestiole
His ears were destroyed by way too much concerts of harshcrust and buldogrind, Kro de la Bestiole quits quickly any musical revendication. He likes to stay in punk’s mud, working a violent and physical aspect of raw electronic material, playing with distortions and textures with physical controller more than sequencers. In 1964, he discovers the concept of electronic drums by hitting his computer. Now he has done a lot of progress by plugin his computer. He’s playing too in the variable formation “greatfulldeadkennedys”.
Th-Th
Thomas Thiery as an artist concerns himself particularly with the sound medium. After his physics degree, he continued his studies on sound and image in the Université de Provence. At the same time he got in touch with graphic programming in general, and more particularly with the software Pure Data. Equipped with sensors, he collaborated as a sound programmer for audiovisual installations and dance performances. With Thierry Coduys, he completed his training at the Kitchen in Paris and worked on graphic scores with the help of Pure data and IanniX. Since then, he has focused his sound research on new forms of musical writing. To continue his work, he particularly relies on free and open source software which gives him more open advantages.

Netlabels bieten in aller Regel so genannte „freie Musik“ an.
